Grand Opening of Everything But The Dress

Hello,

Well I have to say I'm super excited as I have a busy but fun weekend scheduled for the next few days. To start off with, and to start with a bang, I am going to the School of Rock, blogging workshop with famous bridal blogger, Kat Williams of Rock N Roll Bride.  I've been looking forward to this for ages and I can't wait to get some insider knowledge of how to be a better blogger!

Secondly, I am attending the opening of Everything But The Dress in Portsmouth.  This is a fabulous boutique in the heart of Portsmouth and will be offering brides a gorgeous selection of bouquets, stationary, favours, accessories and headdresses (some of them by yours truly) as well as jewellery and other services.  This is a totally new concept for the area and I've already had a sneak peak in the shop - it's going to be a treasure trove for brides to be. If you are around on Saturday 1st September, they are having their grand opening which I'm sure will be so much fun, so pop in and see whats on offer.

Finally, I am having a totally adult weekend - I am officially a child free zone so I will rounding off this rare event with a friends 40th birthday near London.  What a treat.  See you on the other side.....

Some of My Gorgeous Brides

Hi there,

My goodness, it feels like I haven't written a blog post in ages - and on looking at the blog - I haven't!  Life has been just so, so busy over the summer.  I've got lots of exciting stuff happening over the next few weeks (well I think it is anyway!!) which I will be sharing as and when.  But for now, thought I would share some images of some of the lovely brides who have chosen to wear Glass Oyster designs. x

The gorgeous Jo wearing my Maria headdress - this time on a band instead of a comb.  It works beautifully with her vintage dress - and she wore my headdress the next day too! Love these pictures from Faye Cornhill Photography

Kim looked so stunning in her bespoke gown made by her sister who is a designer for a very well know high street brand.  She wanted a statement bespoke headdress to compliment her gown using elements of diamante and antiqued silver.

My lovely friend Krissy - who got married on a very wet day in June!  Below is a close up of her headdress.

Suzy looking so beautiful in her Grecian style flowing dress.  The Suzanne hair vine in ivory and golds worked so well with her style.
